Vivimos tiempos difíciles que nos impone sacrificios y esfuerzo, no es la primera vez que vivimos una situación de este tipo y quizá tampoco será la última. De distinta manera cada año los países enfrentan calamidades y desastres sociales o naturales. Pero esta vez la particularidad es que la adversidad la vivimos todas y todos, nadie esta exento, ninguna frontera es capaz de impedir el paso de este virus del tamaño de una nano-partícula, lo más que puede es aplazar un poco el tiempo de su incubación entre la población; esta minúscula materia ha cimbrado y fracturado los cimientos de la economía mundial y de alguna manera el modelo civilizatorio globalizador, donde todo está conectado y nada está tan lejos que no nos afecte, ante este gran problema global los Estados-Nación han aplicado respuestas como si aún viviéramos en la edad media, cierran fronteras terrestres y aéreas y con ello se promueven que salga lo peor de las personas, egoísmo, discriminación, clasismo, irracionalidad e histeria social.

Si el problema es global le corresponde una solución global, desafortunadamente ente nuestros dirigentes está sumamente instalado el modelo de competencia, hay olvido del valor social que tienen, la unidad, la colaboración y la solidaridad para resolver crisis y superar dificultades. La respuesta tampoco no puede ser solamente económica, sino socio – cultural, se trata de buscar con responsabilidad compartida, en unidad y solidaridad, nuevas formas de habitar el planeta, con mirada crítica, pero con un horizonte de esperanza de un nuevo orden mundial, donde se valore a la persona y la comunidad por sobre el dinero y la ganancia, lo pequeño ante lo macro, lo suficiente frente al exceso, lo frágil sobre lo poderoso, lo sustentable frente a la depredación, una lección de esta crisis sanitaria es que o construimos un mundo para todos o no habrá mundo para nadie. No partimos de cero, hay miles de mujeres y hombres que llevan años trabajando por un mundo distinto, el mundo de los que se niegan a usar plásticos de un solo uso, que reducen, reciclan y compostan su basura, practican el consumo responsable y la agroecología, el mundo de los que cuidan toda expresión de vida, son incluyentes y no discriminan ni por raza, ni por religión ni por genero, son generosos y agradecidos, pedalean su bicicleta y usan el transporte publico para reducir la contaminación, son cariñosos bondadosos y amables con las personas, los animales y todo el planeta, los que no tienen miedo a pensar diferente y conviven con los que piensan distinto, sabiéndose parte de una misma humanidad, así hay miles integrados en las familias Kolping nuestra fuerza está en la fe hecha comunidades de acción y solidaridad, ahí donde actuamos hacemos la diferencia, somos mucho más que países con banderas distintas, somos un gran mundo de colores llamado Kolping, cuya vocación e imperativo ético es servir y ser solidarios.

En esta crisis nadie en el mundo Kolping se debe sentir, ni estar solo. Hagamos rodar las redes sociales y lancemos entre nuestras comunidades, miles de mensajes de fraternidad, miles de iniciativas solidarias, que protejan a los más débiles, reactiven las economías locales, que protejan la vida en comunidad, que sean fermento de una nueva manera de cuidarnos y cuidar a la creación, que los colores naranja y negro se hagan sentir, entre los nuestros y con nuestros prójimos.

A FRATERNAL HUG FROM MEXICO

We live hard times when it's needed to make sacrifices and effort. It's not the first time that we experience something like this, and it won't be the last for sure. In different ways, countries face calamities and social or natural disasters all the time, but in this particular case everyone arround the world experience the same adversity, no one is safe, no border can stop this extremely little virus. The most we can do is reduce the speed of contagion among the population. This minuscule particule has shaken and fractured the foundations of the world economy and, in some way, the globalizing civilizing model, in wich everything is connected and nothing is so far away that can't affect us. Facing this great global problem goberments have applied solutions as if we still be living in the Middle Ages, closing land and air, provoking the the worst attitudes in people: selfishness, discrimination, classism, irrationality and social hysteria. If we have a global problem a global solution is needed.

Unfortunately, the competition model is highly installed among our leaders: they don't aplies values like unity, collaboration and solidarity to resolve crises and overcome difficulties. Economic solutions are not enough, social and cultural solutions are needed. We have to work all together, sharing responsabilities, with unity and solidarity, to find new ways to live in this planet, with a critical point of view, but with hope that a new world order is possible, where people and communite will be more important than money and profit, where small things will be more important than macro economy, we'll be looking for enough instead of excess, we'll take care of fragile things instead of powerful ones, we'll search for sustaintability instead of depredeating our enviroment. There's something we can learn about this health crisis: if we don't understand that world is for everyone there will be no world for anyone. And we are not starting from cero because there are thousands of women and men who have been working for years building a diferent kind of world, who refuse to use single-use plastics, who reduce, recycle and compost their garbage, who practice responsible consumption and agroecology, a world who take care of all kind of life and do not discriminate any race, religion or gender. There are a lot of people who are generous and grateful, who rides their bicycle and uses public transport to reduce pollution, who are kind with all the people, animals and the whole planet, those who are not afraid to think different and live in peace with others who think different, knowing that we all are part of the same humanity. There are thousands of people organizated in Kolping families. Our strength is that we are faith based communities of action and solidarity, and we can make a difference where we are working. We are much more than countries with different flags, we are a great world of colors called Kolping, whose vocation and ethical imperative is to serve and live in solidarity.

In this crisis no one in Kolping world should feel alone. Let's use social networks to link our communities: let's send thousands of messages of fraternity, thousands of solidarity initiatives to protect the weakest and to revive local economies, to protect community life. This will be the ferment of a new way of taking care of ourselves and taking care of creation. Let's the colors orange and black shine among us and our neighbors.

EINE BRÜDERLICHE UMARMUNG DES KOLPINGWERKES MEXIKO

Wir durchleben schwierige Zeiten, die uns Anstrengung und Aufopferung abverlangen. Es ist nicht das erste Mal und es wird voraussichtlich nicht das letzte Mal sein, dass wir solch eine Situation erleben. Auf unterschiedlichste Arten treffen jedes Jahr Katastrophen, soziale und natürliche, auf verschiedene Länder. Doch dieses Mal ist es eine besondere Widrigkeit, die uns alle auf einmal trifft, keine*r ist ausgenommen. Keine Grenze ist in der Lage, den winzigen Virus aufzuhalten, wir können seine Ausbreitung lediglich verlangsamen. Diese kleine Materie hat die Weltwirtschaft ins Wanken gebracht und auf seine Art und Weise auch das globalisierte Gesellschaftsmodell, in welchem alles vernetzt ist und nichts so weit weg, dass es uns nicht betrifft.

Vor diesem großen globalen Problem stehend haben die Staaten Antworten gegeben, wie wir sie aus dem Mittelalter kennen. Sie haben Land- und Luftgrenzen geschlossen und proklamieren, dass dadurch die schlimmen Menschen, der Egoismus, die Diskriminierung, der Klassissmus, die Irrationalität und soziale Hysterie verschwindet. Wenn es ein globales Problem ist, brauchen wir eine globale Lösung. Doch leider ist zwischen den Regierungschefs ein Kompetenzkampf im Gange, der soziale Wertigkeit, Gemeinschaft und Zusammenarbeit in Krisenzeiten vergisst. Die Antwort kann auch nicht nur wirtschaftlich sein, sondern soziokulturell. Es geht darum, geteilte Verantwortung zu suchen, gemeinschaftlich und solidarisch. Neue Formen, den Planeten zu bewohnen, mit kritischer Haltung aber mit einem Horizont der Hoffnung auf eine neue Weltordnung, in der der Mensch und die Gemeinschaft über Geld und Gewinn steht, die Suffizienz vor dem Übermaß, das Zerbrechliche vor dem Mächtigen, das Nachhaltige vor dem Raubbau und der Plünderung. Eine Lektion dieser Krise ist, dass wir eine Welt für alle brauchen, ansonsten wird es keine Welt für niemanden geben. Und wir beginnen nicht bei Null. Es gibt Tausende Frauen und Männer die seit Jahren für eine andere Welt kämpfen. Eine Welt, in der Einmalplastik abgelehnt wird, in der reduziert, in der recycelt wird, kompostiert, kritisch konsumiert wird, in der die Agrarökologie lebendig ist, eine Welt, in der aller Ausdruck von Leben gewahrt und respektiert wird, eine inklusive Welt, die nicht diskriminiert, nicht aufgrund von Herkunft oder Religion oder Geschlecht. Eine Welt die großzügig und dankbar ist, in der wir in die Pedalen unserer Fahrräder treten oder öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nutzen um die Luftverschmutzung einzudämmen. Eine Welt, in der wir liebevoll und gutherzig mit unseren Mitmenschen umgehen, mit den Tieren und dem gesamten Planeten, in der es keine Angst gibt, anders zu denken, in der wir mit Andersdenkenden zusammenleben, wissend, dass wir alle Teil dieser Menschheit sind. So gibt es Tausende in Kolpingsfamilien und unsere Stärke liegt in diesen Gemeinschaften der Tat und Solidarität. Dort ist es, wo wir den Unterschied machen.

Wir sind mehr, als es Länder auf dieser Welt gibt, wir sind eine große Welt der Kolping-Farben, deren ethische Berufung und Auftrag es ist, zu dienen und solidarisch zu sein. In dieser Krise darf sich kein*e Kolpinger*in einsam fühlen oder einsam sein. Bringen wir diese sozialen Medien ins Rollen und werfen wir tausend Botschaften der Brüderlichkeit in unsere Gemeinden, tausend solidarische Initiativen, die die Schwächsten schützen, die die lokale Wirtschaft stärken, die Leben in unseren Gemeinden schützen, die Treibmittel sein sollen für eine neue Form auf uns und die Schöpfung Acht zu geben. Dass orange-schwarz fühlbar wird, zwischen uns und unseren Nächsten.
